This Path, Oh Lord

I’m coming home, oh Lord
Home that you have built for me
I’m on a long path, oh Lord
But in its end, it will lead me to thee
This path is rugged and narrow, oh Lord
Full of ups and downs
This path is long and winding, oh Lord
But Heaven at the end shall be found
The deceiver shows me another way, oh Lord
It’s wide and straight and smooth
He tempts me with his tricks, oh Lord
But my heart is destined to you
This path is mired with distractions, oh Lord
Designed to pull me away
They beg me not to go, oh Lord
But for you, I will not sway
Your spirit fills my heart, oh Lord
My soul no thief will steal
On this path I’m coming home, oh lord
Live this life for you, I will

Mathew 7:13-14 13 ““Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Our Walk with God
